Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to book Tennessee Whiskey?

Rates vary depending on a few factors - distance travelled, day of the week, time of day, set length and total time onsite. All prices reflect the real cost of what goes into a live performance: equipment upkeep, transport for four band members, fuel, rehearsal time and consumables. Get in touch and we'll put together a quote based on your specific event.

How far in advance should I book a live band for my wedding or event?

There's no hard rule - if we're available, we're ready to play. That said, we'd always recommend giving yourself a couple of weeks for your own planning and logistics. For weddings in particular, popular dates book up quickly, so earlier is always better.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Leeds and will travel within a couple of hours of there for most bookings. We do occasionally travel further afield, but longer distances will be reflected in the price, particularly if overnight accommodation is needed.

How long do you perform for?

Our standard set is two hours, typically split into two one-hour sets with a 15 to 30 minute break in the middle. We're good at reading a room - if the energy's right and it makes sense to come back on sooner or skip the break entirely, we'll let you know. Ultimately it's always about what works best for your event.

Can you perform outdoors?

Yes, with a couple of conditions. We'd always ask for a covered performance space and a reliable electrical hookup. We'd also strongly recommend having a backup plan in case the weather turns - we're bringing thousands of pounds worth of electrical equipment, and any calls around safety have to factor in the wellbeing of your guests as well as our gear.

Can you learn a special song for our first dance?

In most cases, yes - just mention it when you get in touch and we'll let you know if it's feasible. We'll be honest with you if a request isn't something we can do justice to.

Can we request specific songs from your setlist?

Absolutely. Before every event we'll have a chat about your tastes and preferences, then build a setlist designed to keep your audience engaged and the set flowing smoothly. We think carefully about the order and dynamics so there are no unnecessary gaps or momentum drops on the night.

What equipment do you bring?

We bring our own PA system, subwoofer, stage lighting and instruments. If your venue has its own PA or drumkit, we're happy to work with that too - we've done it plenty of times.

How much space do you need to set up?

We'd ask for a minimum of 5 metres wide by 3 metres deep to set up comfortably and move around safely.

How long does setup take?

We aim to be set up and ready within an hour of arrival. For weddings and events where other things are happening around us, we keep soundcheck as brief and unobtrusive as possible - nobody wants their ears blown off during the wedding breakfast.

Do you play music between sets?

Yes - we can plug in and play our own playlist during the break, or hand over to you or your venue to play whatever you like.

How do I confirm a booking?

Fill in the booking form on our website and we'll be in touch. We'll usually have a quick chat over email or phone before confirming everything. Once confirmed, we'll send over a deposit invoice and a performance contract outlining everything agreed.
